Senior Brolgas Announcements

For the first time since 2010 the Townsville Brolgas will compete against the rest of the state in the revamped Queensland Country Championships. This year, the Conrad Gargett Under 19 Brolgas & the Zambrero A-Grade Brolga sides will battle it out against 4 other teams across the state. This year’s Country Championships will begin two weeks after the Grand Final, with the first game on September 1^st.

Both teams will play 3 away games, 1 in Cairns against FNQ, before travelling to the home of Queensland Rugby, Ballymore, to take on Darling Downs and Sunshine Coast. The headline fixture of this REP season will be a blockbuster Home game for both sides against the Gold Coast on September 14^th.

All players, coaches and management staff will need to be available for all games/travel and trainings. Please read all dates below when considering nominating. The total cost for all games/travel/accommodation/gear/some meals will be approximately $680.00 per player. To register, please go to this link.
