Next week will see the Queensland Reds embark on a Statewide tour which will see staff and players sent to different places around Queensland with two players arriving in Townsville next Monday. The players that will be in Townsville are; Son of former Wallaby Sam Scott-Young – Angus Scott-Young; and young Reds rising star Tuaina Tualima.
The key focus for the regional tour is for the players to connect with the Queensland community. Whilst in Townsville, Angus and Tuaina will be billited out (see families below), they will be doing some charity work with Legacy as well as travelling out to schools with TDRU Development Staff.
These visits will provide an opportunity for the players to meet and interact with the everyday people across the state who the Reds represent.
