Beach Rugby Australia supported by Townsville and District Rugby Union will see The Strand host the Northern Australia Championships in February 2020.
Beach Rugby is a spectacular, fast paced and exciting game – based on modified rules of Rugby Union, Rugby League & Touch. It’s the game you know – but not as you know it! There is contact involved and once mixed in with tactics, stamina and ball handling skills, it creates the basis of an exciting game for players and spectators.
