Congratulations to the Gallego Family (Burdekin) and the McKellar Family (Charters Towers) for winning the Queensland Reds billeting competition. Both families will enjoy this once in a lifetime experience to live under the same roof as current rugby superstars James O’Connor and Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.
This opportunity will not go amiss, as both the Gallego and McKellar families have current junior rugby players who strive to be like James or Lukhan one day. Both families will get the chance to share stories with James and Lukhan as well as showing them around Burdekin and Charters Towers.
The Reds pairing will arrive on Monday 16th and travel straight out to Charters Towers to meet the Mckellars, before making their way to the Burdekin on Tuesday 17th to stay with the Gallego’s.
