This Saturday 15th February, Townsville Rugby Union alongside former Wallaby Lote Tuqiri will be hosting a FREE rugby session!
The session will be held at The Strand Park (behind Picnic Bay stinger enclosure) from 11:30 – 12:30, all junior boys and girls are welcome to attend!
The session will include plenty of fun games and activities! You will also have an opportunity to meet Lote and have a photo or autograph with the former Wallaby great.
Lote is also an ambassador for the Northern Australian Beach Rugby Championships that is kicking off after our session at 1:30pm on The Strand, it would be great if you could stick around and cheer on the male and female teams as they battle it out for beach supremacy.
Then later, Lote will be taking his own team ‘Aussie Dingoes’ which includes several local junior Brolga players up against Johnathan Thurston’s ‘Castle Kings’ at 6pm.
