See below for step by step instructions on how to register for the upcoming Townsville Festival of 7s.
Before you start ensure you have the latest version of Rugby Xplorer downloaded and your Rugby Xplorer account is made and logged in.
How to Register a team
Step 1. In the Rugby Xplorer app or internet browser log in and select “Register” along the left hand side of your screen. From there it will give you three different options, select the one that says “Register a Team”.
Step 2. It will now promote you to search for a competition/tournament. Type in: “TSV Festival” this will bring up all the Townsville 7’s competitions as pictured below.
Scroll down until you find the age group for your team. (example Under 14’s or Senior Men’s) Once selected scroll to bottom of page and hit next.
Step 3. Enter your team name and contact details – Please make your team name unique so you can be identified (please do not call your team “Under 12’s). Ensure all details on this page are correct as this will be our main use of communication to your team
Enter your name and contact details and club if applicable then click next
Step 4: Payment page (fee’s below) – All team and player fee’s are charged here to one person. This covers Insurance/Game Fee/Entry and State Fee for 12 players and Coach/manager. This fee is replacing the game ticket players had to purchase at the gate in previous years (junior only). Your team will not be registered with completing this and making payment. Once you have paid you will receive a confirmation email.
Mini Rugby 7s
Registration Fee = $178/team + processing Fee (SQUAD SIZE: 12 players only)
Primary Aged Rugby 7s
Registration Fee = $178/team + processing Fee (SQUAD SIZE: 12 players only)
Teenage Rugby 7s
Registration Fee = $248/team + processing Fee (SQUAD SIZE: 12 players only)
Youth Rugby 7s
Registration Fee = $248/team + processing Fee (SQUAD SIZE: 12 players only)
Senior Rugby 7s
Registration Fee =
Men’s Competitive – $590/team + processing Fee (SQUAD SIZE: 15 players in squad (12 for each match)
Women’s – $590/team + processing Fee (SQUAD SIZE: 15 players in squad (12 for each match)
Men’s Social – $514/team + processing Fee (SQUAD SIZE: 15 players in squad (12 for each match)
How to register a player to an already registered team
Once again please ensure you are logged in to Rugby Xplorer and have the latest version downloaded (mobile). It is also important that the team you wish to register to is registered to the correct age groups of the Townsville Festival of 7s.
It is a requirement this year that ALL PLAYERS, COACHES & MANAGERS are registered to the right team as there will be a new system for entry which means you Must be registered to your team.
Step 1. In the Rugby Xplorer app or internet browser log in and select “Register” along the left hand side of your screen. From there it will give you three different options, select the one that says “Find a Team”.
Step 2. Type in the team you wish to play for in the Festival.
Once selected, hit next.
Step 3. The next page will provide you with 5 options. Select the one that is appropriate to your role. Please keep in mind that managers and coaches will have to also register this way.
Once chosen, select next.
Step 4. The next few pages will ask you to fill out personal and emergency contact. Ensure that all of these details are correct and hit next.
Step 5. After ticking the acknowledgement box and hit pay. You should receive a confirmation email. You are all set.
