Townsville Rugby Ground Marshal Pathway

Become a Ground Marshal for your club. From the Labour Day long weekend, all matches will require a dedicated Ground Marshal to help support a positive and respectful sideline environment. Each team must nominate a registered volunteer (separate from the coach or manager) to take on this important role.

Ground Marshals play a key part in creating a safe, family-friendly atmosphere while helping strengthen our rugby community and uphold the core values of the game.

Follow these steps below to become a Ground Marshal:

Volunteer Registration
Step 1

An important first step is to make sure that you are registered with your club as a volunteer.

Step 2

Ground Marshals play an important role at all matches across our game. They are the first point of contact for match officials and spectators should anything happen. To become a Ground Marshal you must first complete the course. Once completed you can now be added to your team as the official Ground Marshal.
