The Townsville Brolgas are a representative side featuring players selected from our local club competition. The Brolgas compete at the Queensland Country Championships, taking on teams from across Queensland and showcasing the best of Townsville rugby talent.

*Please note that is not a nomination for the Junior Brolgas Trials and that these nominations will be collected through your club. If you do wish to trial you MUST be registered with a TDRU club.

Junior Brolgas Trials - Sunday April 26th

• A squad will be selected and they will travel to Cairns to take on FNQ. A final squad will be picked to compete at the QLD Country Champs in Townsville.

Expressions of Interest

Townsville District Rugby Union (TDRU) is now calling for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from club-registered players for selection in the Townsville Brolgas Senior Teams, including Men’s, Women’s, U20 Men’s and U18 Girls squads.

Selectors will be scouting nominated players across the opening three rounds of the local competition, with teams to be finalised ahead of the TSV vs FNQ North Queensland trials on 30th May.

Please note: all players must be currently registered with a TDRU club to be eligible for selection.
